the  Care for Rare Foundation, a foundation for children with rare diseases, and the Alström Initiative have agreed to work together. Together we would like to further increase awareness of rare diseases, intensify the search for scientists and researchers for Alstrom Syndrome, promote the expansion of international networks and further develop the concept of a 'Center of Excellence'. It is an exciting and great step into a new form of cooperation for both organizations in the hope that by joining forces, we can take another step forward for the 'orphans of medicine' – those affected by rare diseases
